Ali Al-Habsi was beaten by a former Albion midfielder in the Gulf Cup today.
But the experienced goalkeeper on loan from the Seagulls from Wigan has already shown what he can do in the competition.
Oman came from a goal down to draw 1-1 with Iraq in their second group game today.
Yaser Kasim, the former Albion man now with Swindon, put Iraq ahead in the first half.
Al-Habsi excelled in Oman's first match with this stunning series of saves in the 0-0 draw against holders the United Arab Emirates.
