About 18 when they came through and yes they do hurt for about a week or two while they cut through. Just hope that your jaw is big enough for them and they dont have to be pulled out! :)

My first wisdom teeth starting coming through when I was about 20 then the rest continued until a couple of years ago.

Last October I had to have three removed as they were growing on an angle and cutting into my cheek. The after operation experience was worse than when I had my fractured cheekbone plated.

Six months on I am glad they were removed, although I get pi55ed off when a grain of rice gets stuck the pocket left and is hard to dislodge.

I was 18 and was in agony all through my wedding day because of the blasted wisdom teeth. Had them pulled out a few months later, and that was a hundred times worse than the pain I'd been in while they tried to come through.

I had no problems with mine. One of them will have to come out soon though as it's falling to pieces. :(

WSU, just below the seagull.
I had one out last year, after it was pulled i was told no smoking or booze for at least 24 hours. That night i went out, smoked and drank and after about 30 minutes sleep that night i realised i should of listened to my dentist.

When did yours come through?

Mine are coming through now and im only 16 and there not as painfull as 1st thought they would.

Oh deary, deary me! Enjoy the 3 inch cut through your cheek when they give you jip! (ie - they start f***ing moving your other teeth to places they shouldn't be)

Buy a pack of straws NOW for practice.

Tomato soup, anyone ???

Sorry, that's a bit mean & OTT.

Advice at Dentists though - pinch your wrist f***ing hard with your nails to confuse the pain - it works, trust me
