Phew

Oh dear. I had hoped that the insertion of a little ;) smilie would have let Simster and Stumpy know that I was taking the piss and not having a serious dig. So sorry, next time I'll label the post 'THIS IS A JOKE', just so you know. Geez, even Albion Dan got it. ;)

Stumpy Tim - "NSC Clique at it's worst". WTF? Er, HOW? The only way it could be seen as being 'cliqueish' is if the people not in the clique (if it even EXISTS) don't bother to get involved.

Simster. I never said I invented anything. This sort of thing has been going for ages? Brilliant, in that case we're just carrying it on. What's your problem?

ANYWAY.....

Seeing as the majority of people seem to be entering into the spirit of things, the catagories will be announced at the beginning of next week. So far it looks like they'll be the same as in the summer, with the possible exception of the 'Outstanding Contriution' award.

Actually, I have put a message on this thread giving my opinions on who should win. But if you post messages aimed at particular people then expect to get a response. So get off your high-horse.

The reason it's cliqueish is because we all know it's about you & your mates. Like we all know you want to be "Funniest poster", despite being one of the least funny people on here. Maybe the reason I don't know whether you're joking is because I'm yet to see a funny post from you. Apart from hilarious threads on sleeping with other people on NSC & other childish efforts.

There are alot of your friends on here who I think are excellent - fatboy, Artois, Turkey, Italia etc, and sometimes I even quite like your posts, but thanks for setting the record straight. You actually are a tosser

Jesus Christ, make your mind up. One minute you're greeting the awards with derision, the next you're giving your opinion. Tell you what, I'll get off my high horse when you get off your fence.
Like I said, the smilie was there to show I wasn't having a personal dig. IT WAS A JOKE.

You got me. That's right, I lay awake at night thinking up ways of rigging the vote so I become Funniest Poster. It's a fair cop.

Don't be so f***ing wet. If you seriously think I, or anybody else for that matter, is really that fussed whether or not they win an award then you really need to get out more. As has been stated numberous times before, IT'S A BIT OF FUN. If it really riles you that much, why don't you vote? At least then you've got a chance of affecting the outcome rather than just moaning like a bitch when you don't agree with the winners. Apathy - the silent killer.

As for 'funnyness', it's all a matter of opinion. What you might see as being childish others might see as actually being funny. That doesn't either of us wrong or right. Perhaps you should try being humourous once in a while, rather than moan all the time.

Again, that's your opinion. Not that I'm going to take much notice when you're sat 12,000 miles away. Come along to the meet-up, I'll buy you a beer, and you can tell me to my face.

Nail on the head there Safeway. I bet there were a fair number of people there who complained (even just to themselves if they didn't post about it) that all the awards were won by "the clique" but didn't actually vote themselves. The results probably would have been completely different if they had (no offence to those who won).
