I agree with you regarding the gate receipts but that doesn't take into account the boxes and 1901 members which would add to that. I also agree with you about the expectations of what we are able to spend.I'm just the cautious sort and Naylor only knows what he is told to say! If we had 30 players on say £5k a week average (some significantly more, some significantly less) it would be a wage bill of £8m. There are all the other people costs - Management, admin, community, coaches, centres of excellance, stewarding (100s of them), etc etc. We probably get around £10 to £12m a year in gate receipts, so this probably covers wages. Yes, there are other income streams and I don't know how much the club actually netts from these, but I am just concerned that people's expectations of what we are able to spend doesn't match up with what we have available.

There is a difference between Gus making bad signings and gus starting the signings on the bench.
The issue i think Mr B has is Gus's selection, not his signings.
