Will they ever again play a full game in the stripes?

I have to say I am less and less optimistic abour Rodger and Blackwell ever playing for us again.

I can see Rodger getting crocked again first game back and Blackwell finally calling it a day this season.

What do you think?

I reckon Rodger will, but won't be the same player he was before and won't get into the side, especially with Nicholas and Currie. As for Blackwell, i don't think he'll play again sadly.

I'm sure Rodger will be back sometime this season, but I think Blackwell might as well hang up his boots. The news never seems to improve on his condition.

Additionally, with all the Adams coming through into the team and doing well, I can't see him getting in the team anyway.

Rodger was interviewed a couple of months ago and reading between the lines appeared to be on the point of calling it a day if he didn't see a big improvement. Doesn't look good if he still isn't ready.

Blackwell I've given up on.

Not too optimistic... Rodger not playing tonight makes me think he won't make it... club hasn't even mentioned Blackwell lately... suggest we cut our losses on the latter... give the former a deadline (end of Oct was his idea) to get fit... we are not a charity and desparately need funds for our squad...
