Will Roberts play for us again?

Agree to disagree - I think Roberts has too many "funny five Minutes" like Tranmere away last year

Maybe (although I think this is overblown), but how many goals has he cost us? I can't think of many, whereas Kuipers has been responsible for several this season alone. However, FDM has been on the whole very good this season, and I think both are important to us.

Ah, the old Roberts/Kuipers argument.

First of all, what's this nonsense about Kuipers not talking to his defence? Was there some other bloke with a Dutch accent bellowing away on the pitch the other day?

Secondly, Roberts having better kicking than Kuipers is a myth - they are BOTH prone to putting the odd one straight into touch.

Both are great keepers, but Kuipers is the better shot-stopper.

Kuipers has been brilliant the last 10 games, he has without doubt single handidly kept us in games. It was a soft goal to let in against Cardiff but the saves that went before this were world class

I think that Coco just about shades it for me, but FDM has been playing out of his skin this season and deserves to keep the jersey for the moment even if Roberts is fit again.

Ben Roberts could have 1 foot cut off of each leg and be one armed and kingygerbil would still defend him to the hilt!

Kuipers was belowing out the commands on Tuesday, and I really think Roberts would have conceded one of the one on ones!

Bloomin well hope so. Mind you I think most people know my views on FDM and do not believe everything DBS says

Although it seems a waste of money to have two quality keepers, i'd rather us keep both. Should anything happen to one of them, like with roberts currently, with have got quality cover. This is extremely important, IMHO, in this division.

of cpourse we need two quality keepers - we've had enough keeper crisis in the last three years to tell you that.

did I hear anyone mention Andy Pettersson

It's not how loud he shouts, but when he does it - too often he is utterly silent when a defender has the ball coming over their head, creating confusion - Roberts commands his area much the better. FDM's problems with this were shown particularly against Gillingham, and for all the propaganda, he makes more crucial mistakes than Roberts. Still love him dearly, though.

just seen the goal on tuesday, should never have let it in

also watched the game highlights the amount of work he had to do one save he made 90% of keppers would not have touched so to say he should have stopped it maybe but the pressure he took in that game should be taken in to account

in reflection the draw was the fair result they where strong and Kuipers saved our arses from a heavy home defeat

I'd much rather have one decent keeper and an average one in reserve and use the extra money on a decent striker.

We can play 3 strikers but only one keeper.

I think it is pretty certain that one of them will go in the summer and this lad Martin will be fast tracked into the squad as cover.

If this was the case then Martin would already be involved.

May played in all the pre season friendlies and has been playing for the reserves/on the first team bench.

Is Martin even the number one in the youth team? I saw that John Sullivan was the one called into the England squad, and both Sullivan and May have been sent to Burgess Hill this season.

If it were'nt for the fdm on tuesday we would
have been walloped 4/5-1 by bardiff and i don't
think roberts would have saved most of them either.
