Will our attendance record be smashed this season?

In season 1977/78 we achieved our record average attendance of 25,264. So will this record be broken this season? Before today’s announcement about the North end corners I thought we’d be close but perhaps fall just short. So what do we think now? Poll to follow

Highly unlikely unless we are top pretty much all season. Average 22,700 to 23,500 I reckon.

Unless we are in the top 2 I cannot see it. 22000 season ticket holders, mean 20000 will turn up on average. An average of 2000 away fans & 1000 pay on the gate = 23000 tops.

I am sure the club will be very happy with such an average.

With terraces it is hard to say but about 34,000

Think maybe 23600 odd,if we do a palace and count season ticket holders as there every match we'll smash the record

The 1970's average was the declared to HMRC stat.

Bamber let many thousand extra into those swaying terraces during that era. It was commonplace then.

Will never know the true, but incredibly high, numbers in the Goldstone then.
