not one championship side took a look at him when he moved to brighton on a free last season because not one of them throught he was good enough.
will he bag in 25 goals next season and prove them all wrong or is it going to be a bid flop on your hands in a player not being able to cut the mustard at a higher level

a) He hardly got a game at Sheffield Wednesday the season before last so he didn't have form
b) We signed him quickly so no one else had chance to (although QPR tried)
c) We didn't get him free

he will not score as many goals because as a team we will be asked to defend more. but hopefully he can still get 15-20 goals. he is a good finisher not too sure about his all round play. im not slating him but zamora never needed another striker to compliment him, knight needs to be playing with a big target man, so it seems.
i think it will be intresting, but he will do ok.

Sheff Wed played him out on the wing and he isn't happy there.

So he got a bit of an attitude problem with them.

He knows where he is with out team and with a big striker will do ok. He can still outjump blokes half his size again.

The good thing is that most Division One defences probably won't know much about Knight, unlike in Division Two where practically everyone was wary of him.

I think he'll do well but will need to be a bit more lively and stop sulking as he is prone to.

Thats his main problem whe n something doesnt his way he goes into a sulk or does a raqsh challenege to get book or sent off.
I hope he is good enough however i feel ther jury is out on him at the moment

I think he will do ok but worry about how well he is going to serve the team in the games we are under pressure and need him not to hide and to hold the ball up. I think McGhee manages him well though and does not look bothered about taking him off when he isnt doing a job.
Knight will get 15 goals this season and not all of them will be penalties.

i personally feel his style of play is better suited for division 1, due to it being less physical.
in div 2, defences would often butcher him up a bit

We are going to be in the sh1t if he isn't. I think that he will be OK. Robert Earnshaw has shown that you dont have to be a giant to score goals in that division.

Defoe scored goals in the First Division last year, and he's no giant either. However, he and Earnshaw are class acts. Knight isn't.

I admit I haven't seen too much of him - only a few live televised games and the play-off final. But he doesn't appear to have anywhere near as much natural ability as the likes of Zamora or Earnshaw.

Knight seems to spend as much time on his arse as he does his feet. And he goes to ground far too easily.

The Second Division was a poor quality section last year. I'll be absolutely amazed if Knight scores anywhere near as many goals this season at the next level.

I think he'll struggle especially as our midfield and defence continually believe that he'll be able to do something magical when they aimlessly hoof the ball over his wee noggin..

He'll be fine, a much more natural goalscorer than Zamora and enough abilit and trickery to score the goals that will keep us up.

And he's likely to nick a few penalties too.
