Whilst Wilson staying is good, how pissed off do you think he is?

He could be Starting for United with the injury issues they currently have.

Torquay or Carlisle?

I doubt he's that bothered... The atmosphere seems a bit toxic up there atm...

Still here.

Hughton today...

"We have a very good relationship with Manchester United and we've not heard anything."

He's not fit to start for us, how is he going to start for anyone else? ???

or Hughton preferred Hemed/Baldock as his front 2 on Tuesday night and presumably will stick with that for Leeds given the thumping victory.
Doesn't mean Wilson is unfit.

In the same way that an injury at Man United means they want/will recall him. They quite clearly don't.

I thought Hughton had said Wilson was still not match fit to start yet.

Wilson is fit and available.
But given he has various options and has played 4-5-1 recently then an absence of Wilson from starting 11
Doesn't mean
- he's not fit
- he's on his way back to Man U

It probably means simply "doesn't merit a place"

He looked visibly unfit if not still unwell in the 45 mins he played against Brentford. It was no surprise he didn't make the bench v Hull or Cardiff, but is obviously recovering enough to get 20mins at Bristol. If you think he is fully fit then fine, but I can see with my own eyes he's not yet fully match fit, certainly not up to his performances pre Xmas.

I've no more idea than you - i'm just going on what the club is saying.
Now that Bong is fit. We'll have nearly 22-23 players who are fit and competing for the first team 11.
When they don't make the bench or the 11. then at some point it will simply be because Hughton prefers other players and also wants to benefit from a squad where he has decent cover for every position.

Not because they're unfit, on their way to another club, or can't play "the full 90 minutes".

PS: He didn't make the bench v Hull or Cardiff because , according to the club at least, he had a groin strain.

It's better to play our own players playing, get our plan right and then post him back to Man U as not required
