Top scorer in League 1 in a struggling side speaks volumes of how good a player he is. Late 20's so still has 3-4 good years in him. Should Gus look to recruit him at the end of the season??

I though he was younger than that, I remember when Watford bought him as 'one for the future' when they were in the Prem!

26 so I was doing him a slight injustice!

Rovers do seem to get their hands on good strikers. I've lost count of them, but there have been loads.

Best player on the pitch today by a fair whack.

(That's not to see he would be the best player on the pitch on another day)

By the seaside in West Somerset
listening to BBC Bristol on the way home and their fans were upset because he was played out wide - they must have missed him coming inside to score twice and have one (rightly) disallowed. :)
Looked very useful and having failed once at a higher level with Watford that experience might stand him in good stead for another go. Certainly skillful enough with the ball and quick and with positional sense.
Certainly worth a look.

I thought he was excellent today. A excellent strike for his first and very good footwork for his second. A constant danger, and match winner in a better side. He reminded me of Currie (other than he could run as well as pass and shoot!)

Personally, I thought he was a WANKER.*

*simply for scoring that great second goal. (I had £2 on a 4-1 win @ 40/1...)

Played really well - 2 great goals.

He stood out way ahead of any of the rest of their team, who I thought were very poor. The only time they threatened was when he was on the ball. Two classy goals. Go on Gus, sign him up. We are going to need players like that as and when we get to the Championship.

Their best played by an absolute country mile. I think on a less windy day Casper would have saved his first one but it was a cracking goal.
His 2nd wasn't too shabby either.
