Will Capello walk if England fail to progress beyond the group stage?

I can't help but think that such a performance would REALLY stink and if we don't get out of our group then fingers are going to be pointed in every direction.

Capello might well accept responsibility and stand down for failing the FA or he may even refuse to work with the team any more as they just aren't good enough

I suspect he will hold out for a huge pay off just like Sven did.

Yep think he will walk, he don't need the stress that comes with managing a bunch of players that can't do the basics. Could walk into any club job in the world.

Would you walk from a job under a country you don't give a shit about when it could bag you millions not to?

Can see the players using him as a scapegoat if/when all does go pear shaped. There is no way on earth he would not be sacked or leave by "mutual respect"

You have to wonder if there is any clause in his new contract regarding lack of success this campaign.

Great timimg by the FA to offer him a brand spanking new contract prior to the world cup.

Dont think we can afford to sack him.

If we fail to qualify for the knockout stage he should walk.

Don't think he will go and don't want him to go. If we look at the bigger picture and realise that we have a world class manager at the helm I firmly believe that Capello will learn more than any new manager could from any failure at this World Cup.

He will try and get as much as he can from the FA.
