We had some pretty good games over the Christmas period. We should have filled our boots and be pushing for the play offs at least, but instead we've got a team at war.

If this keeps up the gates will fall again and by even more and there is one man to blame and it ain't Dean.

Exactly, I can see similarities with MM devolping though, better players lost, discontent about drawn out contract negotiations, a team losing matches the fans think they should win, fans turning in frustration on the team and manager and who's gonna carry the can?..it won't be the board.

Can we just get straight to the point where Questions says "Ha ha, I was just fishing for people to respond to my lame wind-up"? It would save a lot of time.

I'm not saying sack Wilkins, but over the last 7 or 8 games things have started to slip, and if we lose to Bournemouth, well, the boo boys will be out and so will Dicks wallet - hopefully.

I think you will find that the boo boys never went away, If anything unsettles the club, it will be them, causing discontent amongst fans, when there is little or nothing to be discontent about (mainly stay-aways) and doing far more damage than losing a couple of loan players, or Bas would ever do.

If the unjustified moaning continues, it will discourage others from attending affecting the attendances, and put the Albion in a worse position financially. We are doing well this season, playing far more entertaining football than for the last 3 or 4 seasons, If we do lose some players, we may sign others in jan either perminently or loan, SO GIVE THEM THE CHANCE AND TIME THEY DESERVE and stop listening to utter rubbish spouted by idiots

Still, 7 points and 1 win from 8 games, and what could be 9 after Bournemouth, is that not something to cause discontent? Clearly for some people it is, and i find that to a certain extent understandable, however, we should stick with Wilkins till the end of the season, providing we're not in the bottom 4 come february, which, i'm confident we wont be.

Since october we've lost one game we could have expected to win(Millwall) Unfortunately its been followed by a trip to Yeovil, just how many of you were expecting ANYTHING today?
Bas , ocallaghan'Richards & Martot will be replaced,
Some people need a good kick in the knackers, it might stop them gobbing off about things you know f*** all about,

not interested in the current form "table" you dont get relegated or promoted on a month or so's worth of form, look at the league table we are still (just) in the top half.

I agree, sack Wilkins, I dont blame him for the Bas situation but I do blame him for his constant tactical errors i.e. the diamond wasnt working at Millwall and we needed width, so what did he do, changed the personell but kept the same formation. Briliant! This is not an isolated incident and he has done it many times before, usually costing us points. If he really is the tactical genius he thinks he is then someone else in football would have noticed and employed him as a manager before now. Micky Adams is looking for a job, bring him back.

BTW Hammond will be going to a championship club in the summer, no matter how much we offer him, he will get more elsewhere and that is not the chairmans fault!

How long for, on current form?

All teams will have poor runs, its not beyond the realms of possibility that we may win our next four games ,putting us in the top two or three on "current form" but maybe only about 9th in the table. As I've tried to explain current form tables mean nothing - just a statistic to be trotted out when you have no other arguement.
If a run of defeats does develop I might begin to worry, but as it stands consecutive away defeats ( Millwall 4 wins out of the last 5 &Yeovil, who weve never even taken a point from)does not make us relegation fodder

A statistic which is a fact. Facts cannot be argued with. The results speak for themselves.

wonder how many of the people who want wilkins out also wanted mcghee out. you know the mcghee who is doing brilliant at motherwell and has been touted as a favorite for the scotland job. personally i think wilkins is doing ok and if possible we could spend more money on players then i think as our 16 match unbeaten run proved we would do ok. all you who moan so much at the lack of funds should try dipping into you pockets as much as knight has done.. since knight has been here the team have done ok.. true he may not be totally lavish and spl;ash his cash everywhere but i think he does his best for the club that he can. until somebody with more money and thew clubs interests at heart comes along then im happy to stay with knight, and wilkins. its not as if we are underperforming for a club with average gates of around 5-6000

Sorry, I didn't see a team "at war" today - unless you mean at war with the ref, who was shocking. I would question why Martot played (he was worse than Farringdon on one of his off days), and why we often only seem to play well when we're up against it. But today the lads put in a decent effort, and apart from the aforementioned Martot (who is on his way out anyway) all seemed "up for it".
