But you can't blame Wendy for that or wanting to further his managerial career, surely by that reasoning it's DK you should be hating no?I disliked the way he was put in place by DK knowing he was there to get rid of MM and Bob Booker.

I criticised DK for it at the time. Wilkins (he hates being called Wendy btw) knew what he was doing and that makes it as bad in my eyes. But you can't blame Wendy for that or wanting to further his managerial career, surely by that reasoning it's DK you should be hating no?
Even though the previous manager didn't?

well he did for a while, but to be honest after some of McGhee's signings, I am not surprised there were reservations with giving him more cash.
So your dislike of Wilkins is purely down to the fact that he replaced McGhee?
You know it isn't. You've already quoted another situation. That's as far as I prepared to discuss it.
Whether he likes being called Wendy or not I really couldn't give a flying fart, I was a young lad when I watched him play and that was what people named him then and that's what I'll name him now, I'm sure he won't be too upset by someone he hardly knows calling him that... I'm just astonished you have had it in for someone since day one for wanting to further his career and can't forgive him for that yet you quickly forgive the man that put him in that position?I criticised DK for it at the time. At the same time the Blackburn incident was a blip, he has not really slated players in the press since.
It does seem getting at Wilkins because he is not McGhee is a bit much.

That's your slant on it, not mine.
I didn't like Taylor either. I did like Adams and Coppell.
Do we all have to have the same opinion? Shall I ask permission from you for the next manager to like or dislike? Remind me when we next change.
Most people give the manager some time (even I did that with McGhee), but to have it in for the manager from day one is not really on.
Looking at the bigger picture, I'm a fan of Wilkins and feel he has been severely hampered by the players he's lost. However, yesterday, he simply didn't have any tactics, and what is even more disgraceful is that we didn't seem to WANT to win the game. He should be absolutely embarrassed that HIS team can go onto a football pitch and play like they did. At the end of the day, the buck stops with him, and yesterday his performance was like that of the team: non-league.
Remembering that Wilkin`s nickname is Wendy because he jumped out of most tackles I now know why he accepts Jake Robinson doing the same in every match.
Why the feck did Wilkins play Rents on the right and Cox on the left towards the end of that game. Surely once Jake had gone off it was obvious they should switch.
We needed quality crosses for Elder to attack not Cox floating ineffectual floaters because he had to come inside on his right all the time.
As for Jake... he bottled so many challenges again that Wilkins needs to tell him some home truths or else. When the balls in the air he makes out he`s staying on the ground because he wants to shield it when everyone can see he is scared of a clash.
Yesterday was a question of square pegs in round holes and dont dare tell me that we are limited with our squad because that was Mansfield we were playing for fucks sake.
As for Lynch............................... I haven`t got the sodding time to start there.
Anything, but Jakey. The thought of grown adults calling a footballer Jakey makes my skin crawl.
