They have proved that with the right people running a club dreams can happen!:clap2:

We are clearly bigger than Wigan by miles and it should give us all hope that WE can do it and will do it.

Wigan are the best thing to happen to English football for years!!

I remember watching us play Liverpool at The Goldstone in 60s and who would have thought that one of those two teams would have ruled Europe within 5/6 years.

Who would have said 10 years ago Chelsea would be as dominant as they are now.

A rich man makes a big difference to ANY team. eg. Wigan. Reading

They were when Jack Walkers money was available to buy players. When he died he left a lot in trust for Blackburn so that they would never struggle but they havent had the money to spend on transfers that he gave to win the 1st Division or was it called The Premiership then I think that it was.

I used to watch Enfield when they were at Southbury Road as a local option when I wasn't watching the Albion, and an excellent side they were too, particularly in the mid 90s. More recently I have started watching Cheshunt, easy as I live 100 yards from their ground, me and about 80 others.

I don't really have another league club although I have an affection for Donny Rovers for obvious reasons and Barbsley were my dad's childhood team.

Wigan are a fine example of what any other club can do and they have a great Manager and a good stadium to back them up. Well done to them. MR JORDAN take a look!!

My 2nd team is Greenock Morton as it`s where my Scots family are based.

Wigan are my second team as previously stated, I like them and their fans as a genuine football marvel. Nothing 'fairweather' there.
Except that in the Premiership they get 20k+ whereas when they wer ein this division they were getting <10k.
