One of the BEST fims ever. I didn't find it scary, just wierd and mysterious, but also riveting.

Christopher Lee as Lord Summerisle is fantastic.

Interesting Wicker Man fact: the location used for several of the closing scenes is called St Ninian's Cave.

The stumps of the legs of the wicker man are supposed to still be in place wherever it was filmed in Dumfries and Galloway. As a bit of a sad cult film buff I've often been tempted to go up there and have a look at the stumps (as well as obviously hacking a bit of wood off for the collection).

Fair enough.

But I bet if the location was called Goldstone Cave, or Falmer Cave, you'd have been interested.

Admit it.

Don't f***ing mention the Falmer Cave, FFS. You'll have LDC up there trying to find it, looking for roosting bats, to stop the development.

Marvellous - 3 have just been delivered free to my work and because of this thread, I've been the quickest on the draw :smokin:

To be honest, it's the Guide I regard as indispensable, the rest of the Graun is shit these days.

Oh I see ! that has got to be on eof the weirdest injury's I've ever heard of.

Did you watch the rest of the film in pain then ?

It slipped back in and I sat there for the rest of the film with my good hand over my eyes...
