Why we lost today - the theory

We deliberately threw the game today.

The reason was we have a couple of premiershite international strikers and a defender lined up but their teams were scared we might try and cup-tie them. This ploy was conceived to convince them they could loan them to us without risk. That's why we were able to win the LDV thingy - because it doesn't affect them.

Otherwise we would, of course, have stuffed Lincoln. Goes without saying.

I have this on good authority from a bloke down the pub.

Hang on, I've just remembered that I don't go down the pub. Damn, it must have been a dream or something. Strange because I usually dream of naked women.
