The difference between ‘one’ and ‘won’:

Great Britain has just won gold.
Australia has just one gold.

Just far enough away from LDC
If you have access to BBC iPlayer, try and watch BBC Breakfast at around 6.50am this morning. They had an australian journo on trying to defend the poor performance. He was blaming the British and Chinese for stealing their coaches and said 'ah look, we're gonna overtake New Zealand' (okay I may have added the first words).

My 5 year old makes a better attempt at being a good loser than they did.

To be fair, he went on to be very complimentary about the London Olympics.
