Regarding Pride...is it safe to travel to Brighton tomorrow (Friday)
I fancied a beach day with wife and kids, was gonna get the train down.
I didn't know that pride was on.
Will the trains be full? Will the beach be safe for a family?
Would you just go elsewhere for the day?

Not sure about the trains but if you get the train to Hove and walk down to the seafront it'll be much quieter, and it's a much nicer stretch of beach anyway with Hove lawns and New Church Road to pop to to grab a bite to eat etc

I get your point, and that's why I fancied the train....couple of beers too
I just wondered if pride was busy on the Friday, or more so on the weekend days.
I really don't fancy driving tomorrow, but everywhere else would mean the train is a no go.

Given the weather I suspect the trains in the morning at least will be busy with day-trippers rather than Pride visitors. The Pride traffic will pick up in the afternoon, my commute home on Pride eve is occasionally lively. You'll be fine heading home. Suspect the town will be rammed today though, the beach will be buzzing.

I went to Littlehampton in the end.Had a great day.
No odd balls in site which was a right touch.
Shame we couldn't get in to Brighton, but given the circumstances it was probably for the best.
