Why is the atmosphere so bad?

I dont mind bad matches so much when the atmosphere is good.

And I know lack of roof etc is going to make the atmosphere worse.

But this year, even at away games, the atmosphere has been Tommy Tank.

I cannot believe this is entirely due to Krispies not being at many games.

Sort it out!!

It seemed OK to me - not much to get excited about on the pitch, but the general mood seemed OK.

Was that the worst away support ever for a league game at Withdean ? It certainly didn't help on the atmosphere front !

Apart from the QPR game the atmosphere has been dreadful at Withdean, worse than even our first season there when we were doing pretty badly in Div 3.

Is it cos weve been spoilt by a season in Div 1 and now cant get excited about the CHesterfields and Swindons of this world??

I think Ive heard 3 songs in 3 matches!

We play shit - atmosphere is shit.
We play well - atmosphere is good.

It's pretty straightforward, I think.

this is why i didnt get a season ticket this season - we can win 2-0 and i go home subdued entirely die to poor atmoshpere.

I blaim it on all the people in the singing sections whom dont sing.
The front 10 rows of G/H block dont sing at all - why are they sitting there?

Also, lots of potential singers sit in the middle blocks as the view is better.

I fear Falmer will be as bad.

I am glad someone has the same thoughts as me.

I dont want to be rude to people. They are just as much as a fan as us. But they've quite clearly asked to get a season ticket in the singing section(which I dont think is the cheapest-or the best view) AND THEY DON'T BLOODY SING!

Because people spend too much time moaning about the lack of atmosphere, people seem afraid to sing. At Colchester there was about ten of us in on area singing quite consistently yet nobody would join in.Afraid to make noise, i think so.

Maybe us lot who are going to away games make proper effort to stand together and really go for it?

...Myra Hindley"? Sick, but funny:lolol:

yeah I was standing next to the bloke right at the back of H block! Weird atmosphere up there in the clouds, you hear the people infront of you sing but it seems weird to join in cause the sounds not coming from behind you.
