Incredible. Barton obviously has all manner of issues in terms of his desperate need for attention, and probably also the fact that successive England managers recognised that he himself was nowhere near good enough to start a match.
But the Kante thing is so ridiculous and farcical. The player is looking if anything even better after what his departure/arrival meant to Leicester and Chelsea.
And the Champions League comment...well, that would make more sense if he hadn't adapted to playing for arguably the world's best country like a duck to water last year.
On his competitive debut for France at Euro 2016 he made the most tackles, most passes, most interceptions, covered the most distance and had an assist. Why do you need to play against FC Copenhagen for further proof?
