Southend asked for it to be moved as they are having quite a few Friday night games this season.
Apparently they get better crowds on a Friday night!!!

IF we win away. Which we never do at Roots Hall.
I would be well happy if we did pull a result out of the bag though!!

We never won at Kenilworth Road and never won at Gresty Road.
Hopefully this'll become a hat-trick on Friday night

Bank Holiday Weekend might have something to do with it in a resort (??) like Saarfend.

Its a pain, I've always fancied a trip to Roots Hall, but don't fancy tackling the M25 on a Friday evening.
Still, at least I'll get a football fix of sorts on Saturday as a mate is dragging me off to see Sunderland at Tottenham (which I agreed to as she came to see the Barnet match with me).

We're playing Southend on Friday because they apparantly lose there fans to West Ham on Saturday games.

Didn't they also ask to not have home games the same week as West Ham. It was in that artical that someone posted about how the fixtures are generated.
