Typical shit post. Why do you have to be 'educated' to hold a left wing view and thick as two short ones for anything else?

Its all about checks and balances and its gone too far to the left. The country needs a slightly right wing element to bring us back from the abyss of PC liberalism that threatens us all. You can be too right wing but you can also be too left wing and they are both as bad as each other.

I dont have a major problem with multi culturalism as long as ours remains the dominant one and immigrants or children of immigrants accept it as we learn to accept them. It will take time but its our to give not theres to demand.

Number of reasons, I'm going to be perhaps slightly contentious and say this:

Education is a middle-class process, when you've been throught that process and have absorbed enough of it (at least up to GCSE grade C level and certainly up to degree level) you automatically and subconciously absorb the middle class ideas, attitiudes values and beliefs that go with the process. Ergo the educated people tend to think the same (within certain parameters) because they've had the same exposure to the same ideas.

The less-educated ones, the ones where it didn't 'take' have a more simplistic, class-conscious, view driven almost entirely by their own experiences. These people tend to be 'right-wing' because they're at the sharp end of immigration policy and have to compete with the newcomers for jobs, housing etc. For us MC-ers immigration means cheap labour, different restaurants and 'marvellous diversity'.

Being less-educated they find it harder to express their ideas and their feeling of exclusion, which is why their posts are more illiterate.

More to the point why are you so obsessed with infuring that people who do not share your personal political views are illiterate fools ?

I would probably class myself as right wing but I believe I can write fairly intelligently. The problem is there are too many people who can't differentaite a good policy from a bad party. If only you could take the worthwhile policies from each party and merge them together to form an overall policy. To use an example from another thread the policy of prisoners serving ALL their time is a good one ( regardless of the fact that it is a BNP policy ). The Tories have some good policies as do the Lib Dems. Of course Labour has some as well but they tend to be overshadowed by their idiot leaders ego !

So does the fact that I like policies from all of the parties make me left wing, central or right wing ? I'm more likely to vote Tory or UKIP than Labour ( never Lib Dem ! ) so I guess I'm one of those right wing idiots you seem to despise so much ! You should stop branding people and generalising so much because it only makes you look as bigoted as the people you despise.

It's also about the "myth" of immigration that they're fed in the press. In general immigrants don't compete with the white working class for jobs. They either do the jobs that white people won't do, which are poorly paid, dirty or dangerous ( such as the Bangladeshi and Pakistani communites in the catering industry) or they are highly educated (ethnically indian and chinese have a far higher percentage of professionals in the workforce)
