No its not, its because Liverpool played in Europe on Thursday night, Spurs played on Wednesday night.

sorry yes, Spurs was Wednesday. Liverpool played on Thursday because the tv people want to maximise their coverage - there is only Friday now which is almost football free (not that I'm complaining) because television pays for it
