Judge John Deed who just turned up at Withdean and bought a ticket according to the plot I vaguely remember, now you'd have to be well famous to do that wouldn't you?

I remember that: even by the standards of JJD that stretched the credulity a bit.

Wasn't Hoddle a frequent watcher of Zamora?

And of course, Michael Foot has been there a couple of times at Plymouth games.

When Peter Suddaby played for the Albion he shared a home with one of the Nolans. For a time Gary Stevens had dates with another of the sisters. A gathering of the Nolans whilst at the height of their singing careers on match days at The Goldstone wasn't uncommon in those days.

Ron Greenwood used to go to games at the Goldstone, I believe he may have resided in Hove.
