I'm going with Mcghee everytime, he got

Reading to 1st in Div 2, 2nd in Div 1 (nearly all on his own)

Millwall to 4th in Div 2, 1st in Div 2, and then 4th in Div 1

Brighton to 4th in Div 2 Play off final in 1st season

had a couple of hiccups at Leicester and Wolves, but no disgraces there, both sets of fans were a little too demanding of instant success (especially Wolves)

Danny wilson plays attractive football and did an incredible job at Barnsley taking them up BUT.....took them down the next season and has underachieved badly at Brizzle over the years, should have been booted out ages ago.

not at all Biscuit, I've seen 2 people on 2 seperate threads arguing that Wilson is the better manager and it would be no disgrace to think that Wilson is a better manager based on the fact that he is a very popular ex manager.

Personally I think it's an interesting thread and could get some good banter going with the Wurzels.

Dear Dwayne,

Two people, two different threads have posted something which you decided to turn into a discussion. These people wern't attention seekers were they?

I understand the question. But Wilson isn't popular. In fact I know many people who strongly dislike the guy, either for his tactics or his 'kind' words towards the albion.

I do hope your thread is very succesfull and you get alot of interest from the Wurzels.

Love and kisses

So what constitutes an attention seeking thread…one that is likely to divide opinion, cause argument, garner responses from both sets of fans and potentially raise rivalry between the two sets of fans…if the answer to all these is yes then I believe that attention seeking threads can only be beneficial for the board as a whole....love dwayne (NSChats self appointed least charming poster)

its a difficult call . . . .Wilsons teams typically play more attractive football, Wilsons been to a higher level, albeit briefly Magoo on the other hand has got results and achievements from very little resource . . .difficult to judge one against another.

I've got an idea . . . .lets get both managers and their teams together at a nice big ground so we can see who wins, on neautral territory with an even number of fans . . . . . . .that should sort it out

now, who do you talk to at the FA to organise these kind of things ? :lolol:

if its still evens after extra time perhaps a drinking competition and a fight on the pitch to settle it :lolol:

Wilson has spent a shitload of cash on players. McGhee hasn't. Yet look how much further up the table Bristol City finished compared to us. Does that justify the six figure sum that Wilson splashed out? That's where you'll find your answer.

Biscuit, explain, explain - what has Wilson said about us in the past that wasn't kind?

Dick Knight tried to get Wilson before Coppell was appointed manager and he turned us down (or rather Bristol City did).

Who knows who's the best? Both have a record of success. I would say they are both very good.

Mcghee is a much better manager. Wilson had us playing some class football last season and we were unlucky not to go up. This year we have reverted to boring stuff but on some occasions showing what we can and should do every week. To be honest with the squad of players we've got we should have p!ssed on this division , we're a better side than plymouth and qpr on our day. Its just a pity we dont have many of those days. I beleive that if we beat you on sunday we will do well in the first division because wilson's game is more suited to it and so are our players.
To be honest i think it will be a shame if you go up (no offence intended) not because we deserve it but because you really will come straight back down again. From what i have seen of you (it isn't much) you were miles better when you won the league a couple of years ago. You played some good stuff that year , and were exciting to watch , but this year your a bit of a long ball boring team.

Anyway if you do go up good luck , i hope you dont though! (well duh!) If you do it might be a good thing , you never know we could get houlier in charge!!
