Hinsh made the England U-21 squad before his injury and was seen as good a prospect as Harding and Virgo.

Exactly.

Granted he struggled a bit last season, but then so did most of them and it was not helped that at one point he was playing right wing back and also right midfield when he is a centre back.

Hinsh, Lynch, El-Abd, CKR, Hammond, Henderson are all good prospects. Hopefully Robinson and a few otherwise will also prove to be this year.
