I will be there with Steyning Strikers U15 finest. Some of them may have their training tops - so keep your eyes open. There will be around twenty of us.

A nice, gentle, relaxing, introduction to the new season. I am looking forward to it.

Are Upper Beeding and Roffey Robins still crap, and are Cranleigh Comets still good?

Cranleigh Comets ? I've not heard of them. We do play Cranleigh Colts and Crusaders. At our age-group Beeding are okay. Roffey Robins are still rubbish though. Included in the other teams are names such as Kirdford Cougars and Storrington Vipers. They all have a slightly US sound to them.

So you played for five years, and Strikers start at age five - so you were ten when you discovered girls ? ........ respect.

Steyning is a club in need of a club-house to be honest. We use the school pitches, as you probably did. Still thriving though. There are still lads who want to play football - and long may that continue.
