me and a mate got tickets to england v croatia, we're staying in an apartment in estoril.

play-offs followed watching england in a major tournament...

yeah, it's not the cheapest.
was really lucky with the tickets - just applied for a group game and turned out to be eng v cro. they were only about 20 euros each.
flight's about £200 and a friend of my mum is renting us her gaff for 10 days for 400 euros.
can just about afford all that but not sure how i'm gonna eat/drink/travel while i'm there
a visit to the uni hardship fund man, i think!

Is Russia vs Greece in Faro? I tried to get tickets for the games there but couldnt. The new purpose built stadium there is nice but stand behind the goal is uncovered so will be a nightmare in the sun. Main stands are a bit like Huddesfields.

yeah, like i said, it was luck, really.
went on the uefa website last march when they put the tickets on sale.
just applied for a group game in lisbon and turned out to be that one.
was actually france v switzerland until they changed the venues
trying to get a st georges/albion flag to put out at the england game

Never actually "had" them -- just the offer of a nice corporate freebie plus flights, accommodation, free booze etc ... sounded terrible.
