I think its about time Brighton had a statue commemorating the achievements of Steve Ovett.

Or a robotic Andy Kennedy dancing in celebration of a Johnny Crumplin left foot 20 yarder on Boxing Day.

1. Peter Ward
2. Steve Gritt
3. Mike Bamber
4. Dick Knight
5. Robbie Reinalt

We could have an avenue leading up to the ground with a statue every 50 yards.

Can't believe people have left out Kit Napier or Norman Gall.

Kit Napier holds the record for the most number of 'leading goalscorers in a season' at the Albion (6 I think).

Legend, even if he did look a bit like Jason King's Mini-Me.

Border country.East Preston.
Foster's headband is the most recognised feature in Brighton's history,

but the statue should eventually be dedicated to Sir Dick.

For me i think Robbie Reinalt, because i was hardly born when Peter Ward was banging the goals in. So from my lifetime Robbie Reinalt gets my vote, if it wasn't for him then we wouldn't have a football club, let alone Falmer.

Steve Gritt - without him, there wouldn't be a club to build a stadium for, I'm convinced of it. With the greatest of respect to the choices, I can't believe he's not even in there.

It could only be Peter Ward. The guy is still close to the club after all these years. Mark Lawrenson was probably the best player ever to grace the stripes, but the guy is a ****!:lolol:

Got to be RR for me. A statue of that kick as he scores. Although I'd like one of him and one of Wardy with his arms raised celebrating a goal. One at each end of the ground.

4 heroes - one at each corner is a great idea. Mine would be...

Peter Ward
Tommy Cook
Mike Bamber
Robbie Reinelt

I'd also move the Goldstone there or get a replica.

Can't really have Zamora there (too soon an all that...)

I thought we'd agreed that their faces were going in the urinals

We shouldn't forget Mike Bamber though.

No, our truely great Chairmen from the 70s & 80s! Unlike our current joker, he put a fortune into the club and took us all the way to Wembly and the top Div! It must be him!:drink:
