Getting rid of Kuipers will be a bad decision. Brezovan has not yet proved himself as a better keeper than Kuips who on his day is unbeatable with some of the best reflexes in the world (exagerrated). Brezovan has made a couple of howlers since he came here while if we want to go up, we need a keeper who is consistently excellent. (see Fraser Forster)

Getting rid of Kuipers will be a great decision, great service and all that but time to move on.

I think Hart done that last year, I don't think he could accept a much cheaper deal without having to start paying subs each week:p

I'd be amazed if Kuipers stays. Poyet dropped him and has praised Brezovan throughtout, and I think Kuipers is seen as one of the old guard, and I think will be released.

Virgo, I'm sure will get at least one year. Whether he accept it or not is another matter, as I can't see him playing backup again, but time will tell

Not sure about the Kuipers thing, though I suspect you're using inside info. He was dropped, then because he got injured, never got a chance to reclaim his place. Would Brezovan have been dropped after the Carlisle game if Kuipers was fit? A piece of conjecture we'll never know.

Meanwhile, I have a sneaking, long-shot, tiniest suspish OGH might well be retained. Absolutely no evidence, and could well be total bollocks aside from a comment on Harty's attitude from someone high up last Monday.

Is there a problem with Cook? because he came on against Man City and looked perfectly good and i can't remember him being given a chance since

That was not during Ployets reign so he may see it differently. Also not sure about the goalkeeper sitiuation because Gus always speaks very well of Brezovan so he must have some faith in him. and he brought him into the league with Swindon and managers tend to stick with their own.

Huddersfield were mentioned in today's Argus. Not beyond the realms of possibility if we had a space for him on the coaching staff and Bloom is serious about attracting a certain calibre of player.

Will he be able to displace King Navarro though?

only because everyone who has ever been associated with Newcastle in its history is linked with Town because of Clark and McDermott

I expect a rumour about Wor jackie
