Well you'd like to think so. But there's now a packed-out Starbucks and a hotel where you can have a room for the night, and a whole new WARREN of rabbit-hutches for incomers in 'The New England Quarter'. Wasn't even off the drawing board a couple of years back. Probably while we were bogged down in the second or third (I lose count) Public Inquiry. Pompey's plans will sail through while we suffer bureaucratic shit for an eternity yet. You can see which way the wind's blowing.

By the time we build Falmer AFC Mars will probably be a force to be reckoned with.

Ooooo-er we've done it now - TLO will be thundering on here later, INCANDESCENT with rage at any sign of dissention in the ranks

Tho the poll results are pretty telling already

There has to be a strong possibility that Pompey's ground will be finished first. 'kin hope not though.

I will not get excited about Falmer until work actually starts on the stadium itself

Portsmouth will never move from the scumhole that is FP. The latest scheme is another pie in the sky money making dream which won't materialise... problems with access, transportation, wildlife etc.

If it went to public enquiry their club and backers don't have the friends in high places that we had. Both major political parties hate the city of Portsmouth.

They do have permission for two schemes to improve Fratton Park but that wouldn't net the owners any profit.

So it's good news for us! We'll definitely be in first!!

And not even outline planning yet so where they are thinking of building it will probably go to appeal then office of deputy pm and so on so i think they will have a good 4 years or so ahead of them

and what about the other 22 clubs that have had a new stadium built since we left the Goldstone, weve had a good 5 year head start on most of them

Depends on the local council!!!

Unfortunatly a little bit of our park and ride is in shitty Lewes council and they made it as hard as possible etc you damn well know why so why ask??

If Lewes weren't such a bunch of ***** we would have been there for a couple of seasons

Pompey.

But it absolutely will not be the fault of Martin Perry or the board who have all done a CRACKING job so far. Just keep writing those letters and protest marching, kids.
