In front of the PC
Didn't Wendy James have a £1million bet with Piers Morgan that she would win an oscar before the end of the centry? Wonder if Mr Morgan ever collected on the bet.

Rememberthe last come back record they released one sngle then the recold company refused to release the album because it was too crap.

I find it utterly OBSCENE that a thread of this nature could reach its 3rd page with not even the slightest mention of Suzannah Hoffs.

MODS - can you please rectifiy this oversight immediatly please.

I remember Sheena Easton being a bit of a fox once upon a time.

Ah, yes, winner of Esther Rantzen's seminal reality TV show Search For A Star. Who can forget young Sheena's mould-breaking debut single '9To 5 (Morning Train)'

Chorus:
My baby takes the morning train,
he works from nine till five and then
He takes another home again
to find me waitin' for him
chorus

Apparently she's just re-recorded the original with updated post-Privatisation lyrics which go a bit like this...

Chorus:
My baby takes the morning train,
bastard doors didn't open again
He takes another home again - via replacement bus service from Littlehampton
to find me havin' been waitin' for him for three fookin' hours due to an inbred chav at a shitty little duck-halt in West Sussex throwing boulders at the snail-like privatised dustbin
chorus

Crowborough
Kim Wilde by a country mile.

I saw her perform in front of 126,000 people in 1988 as a warm up for a Michael Jackson concert.

Sue Johnston (Brookside, Royle Family) was next to me, as were several others from the Brookside cast.

She was a babe - Wilde that is!
