I offered no less than THREE real names on the other thread this morning but I had no idea that both Mussolini AND myself were options.

I am therefore going for the dream ticket of pairing myself up with a dead fascist dictator. Joint managers and all that. I will turn around home form by spiking all our opponents' energy gels with something unpleasant whilst my stylish but slightly smelly partner in crime will get to work on the post Covid-vaccine back to the Amex plan by making SASTA run the trains on time and getting the players to warm up with some natty co-ordinated goose stepping in front of the North Stand. Plus, I will somehow manage to phish Tony's bank account details and sign Messi, Mane, Nuer, Alphonso Davies and Jeff Minton.

Vote ME. And the dead guy.

Mussolini would get the Falmer trains sorted out. You would re-install the luggage racks too.....

I'm happy with you two but it's Swansman for the top job. From the quiz it seems he knows a lot more about the English game than a lot of us.

The way to land a manager job is to know that Kevin Campbell is the best English PL scorer who never played for the national team.

As luck would have it, I have recovered the blueprints for the Love Basement from the NSC archives...now I've seen it, it makes sense to me?

I felt like I'd fallen down some scary rabbit hole when I looked at that.

It's interesting looking at that list. I think with Ashworth at the helm, it is unlikely we'd go for an exciting European manager again and that leaves the current front runners as Eddie Howe (would probably be an improvement on the pitch but also eurgh what a tosser) and the Cowley brothers (very much of the Potter mould but definitely a step too far at this point). It really does leave Potter's job looking rather safe unless the club actively go against the remit of Ashworth.

I honestly think Swanny would (currently) be doing a better job. I don't think that's disrespectful to Potter. I do wonder how many players he'd alienate. But **** it, they're hardly performing.

That's an exceptional piece of work. :vuvu:

Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..
NSC should pick the team though a series of POLLS every week.

Tempted by Pochetino for his champions league achievements.
Ended up going Swansman for his knowledge of zonal marking and the Nordic lower leagues.
