And Susanna Reid.

Quietly pleased that a weakened side took a strong Stoke to ET to be honest. Saturday is more important.

Cup runs are for mid-table clubs like Brighton who haven't played any of the big boys for 30 years. Apart from Liverpool of course,

and Chelsea, Newcastle twice...and possibly Arsenal soon.

Also, how was that cup run for you last year?

Well done there. You're showing promise, but you're not quite ready for the big boy pants just yet.

Can i just say we weren't "smashed" last night. Dominated the game for 90 minutes, they took their chances we didn't. As you where.

So the dozen or so first teamers in the starting line up and on the bench constituted a weakened side ???

That's funny, I could've sworn the cretinous arsehats in the scum contingent on NSC were glorying in the cup run last season and in fact used it as the main justification for palace's shambles of a league campaign? Interesting how the goalposts get shifted to suit, isn't it.
