will have an even better season, next season.

For me it will be Ashley Barnes. He had a good season but in my opinion he will come of age and be even better even if we sign another striker!

I can tell you now Barnes will defo be back in first team, unless Poyet falls in love with someone else he signs in that position, which for me, is the most important part of the puzzle. Barnes for me, should be gracing our subs bench for the whole season after being replaced by someone of real quality.

Agree to a point but Barnes could shine from the bench, improve his game and become even more of a goal machine behind C.M.S and a new striker! He scored plenty last year and if he matures in a better team.....who knows?

I suspect most of our players will improve, now they've had the experience in the championship and knowing what they need to do to step up, and perhaps with a few better players in the squad to help their development.

Perhaps Buckley, Dunk, Greer, Vicente and maybe Kaz and El Abd won't have such an apparent improvement because they mostly looked like good championship players, imo. Kaz and El Abd might need a bit more consistency or composure, though.

Bridcutt was very good, but was also too lightweight too often, and had some spells of underperforming. I think the experience of this past season with a bit more strength and a bit more consistency and he could be something special.

Given the chance I think both Noone and LuaLua could be more influential - one has genuine ball skills and the other has blistering pace. Both need match time to produce their best

Yeah, because Lua Lua and Noone both showed how easy it is to score 15 goals from left wing.

If Barnes continues to improve, we'll have a top player on our hands. A 20+ a season striker maybe!
