Have you a soft spot for a London Club. Personally I always favour a Southern side over a Midlands or Northern Club in Championships , Cups etc. (except CPFC of course).

So who do you prefer inside the M25 ?

Charlton.

Cos I used to live there.
Cos they went through similar experiences to us.
Cos they brought coachloads to fans united.
Cos I admire how they got into the Prem by ingenuity, effort and good management.
Cos they also hate the Croydon clowns.
Cos most of their supperters are a good sort.

I must admit I do miss away games at Brentford, used to really enjoy them. Good boozer at kew and then any ground with a pub on each corner is OK in my book. Plus the venue of ( probably) the greatest Albion goal I have ever witnessed, Gary Nelson in late 80's.

I will also look out for and hope that afc Wimbledon do well and eventually take over Milton Keynes fraudsters......

Also to add, Watford are not a London club!

Fulham for me. Got a bit of a soft spot for them from when Hodgson was managing and Bobby was playing for them and really enjoyed their run to the UEFA/Europa cup final when they beat teams like Juve.

Got some players I like still such as Dempsey, Hangeland and Danny Murphy.

Nice club and good traditional ground. Plus Al Fayed is a bit mental and entertaining - Jackson statue?!

As a school lad i always liked the Hammers, why because they had the world class bobby moore and then Managers like, Ron greenwood and john lyall who like to play football the proper way.

Then i went to the Goldstone on a regular basis after i passed my car test and saw my truelove then you never forget your first love thou !!

I live in dream world now we have Gus who likes to play football as Wilkins did, i only pray that TB has my outlook for a manger and that isn't Warnock or Pulis!!
