Emergency admissions always go to NHS hospitals. Poor little rich boy having to slum it with the real people.

Hmmm

So the decoded version is ...

# CKR did not have an agent at the end of last season

# CKR caught a dose of somethign and had to go to hospital where he was operated on fairly swiftly

# He was then left in an NHS ward for 4 days

# CKR's medical cover with the club covers private treatment, but the club did not help at all with this incident and it was only by a lot of hassle from CKR himself that he finally did get a move to a private ward

# After all this broke CKR was not happy with the club for their lack of support and wanted to leave

# However, he didn't have an agent

# People got wind of this and loads of potential agents started clamouring for this

# However one agent appear to engage almost in a touch of blackmail by saying that unless CKR came to him, he could ensure that he never left the club

# The reason why he could ensure this is because he was also Mark McGhees agent and, by implication, if he told MArk McGhee not to sell him, then McGhee would not.

# After several weeks of stalemate, CKR finally gave in, switched to Mark McGhees agent, and was sold immediately, with Mark McGhees agent naturally receiving a nice slice of the fee

Is this the situation ?

Looks like that's the story, except for the final point. Debo claims that the family told McGhee's agent where to go and says they made tape recordings of the agents threats. Thus they could have used these tapes to blackmail him into backing off.

I think.

That's how I understand it. But then again I'm a simpleton.

Urology is a medical specialty that deals with diseases of the urinary tract and the male reproductive system

If his contract did cover private health care then you've got a point Debo and I withdraw (some of) my remarks on page 3 of this thread.

However if the above naughty business is true then some might consider there being a danger of Mark McGhee being implicated in this; and there may also be some who wonder whether this might - if true - also have something to do (indirectly as it wouldn't be admitted) with him getting the sack.

If this was true ignorant people might suddenly start to have alarming concerns about wondering whether players not wanting to come here could be linked to them declining to sign with certain agents or make it worth certain people's financial advantage.

I'm sure this can't be true but you can see why some might think this is a bit fishy? It would be helpful if some of these allegations were cleared up or responded to.

No, the anti-McGhee fantasy. CKR's agent is not MM's agent but amazingly the transfer deal went through anyway

I've heard it all now. Next you will be telling me that my National Insurance contribution doesn't go towards my pension.

It doesn't. It goes towards paying the pensions etc of those people who are currently pensioners. The idea was that those in work pay for retirees.

The problem with this for anyone under 45 is that in 20 yrs time the labour pool will be so small in relation to the number of OAPs that there will not be sufficient contributions to cover the cost. Or put another way, look after yourselves lads because if you expect the state to do it you're f***ed.

Any chance of a 'buries head in sand' smiley?
