Paul Samrah, although a fan has adapted to the role really well in my view and deserves to be there.

Richard Lindfield - good enough.

John Baine - hopeless. Get in a pro.

My only gripe is that when we have a minutes silence there seems to be trend to have a massive obituary read out. It just needs some words to explain to some who the mark of respect is for and then for the ref to do a minutes silence. The detailed obituary should be in the programme either for todays game or if the death was too late to be included then in the next one.

Oh and by the way, exemplary minutes silence. Much more respectful than a minutes applause.

I thought that. Just a few short sentences needed. Either that or get the players out a bit sooner and start reading it while they are doing the coin toss

Couldn't agree more with you.

The whole PA at Withdean is a disgrace. We know the drawbacks there, but let the club TRY and get an atmosphere going?
They want us to do our bit, but they have to do something as well.
TODAY...NO music before the match, until Gullies Girls.
When Murray scored ?........nothing
When Elliot scored ?..nothing
Lets get the club to do something as well, in our last season at Withdean.....we are meant to trying to get promoted this season ...WE NEED TO BUILD AN ATMOSPHERE ..
Get the crowd UP for when the team comes out ..its like a funeral

I'm glad there's nothing when Murray & Elliott scored. We don't want music after goals EVER. Cheeers and applause from the fans is the best thing NOT music.

I assume the poster meant no goalscorer announcement. No one wants music after goals.

If you are in the South Stand, unless you happen to be in the mens (possibly the ladies also) bogs, then the announcements are unintelligible. Probably illegally. If the club announced there was a bomb due to go off in five minutes in H Block, only those lucky enough to be having a halftime slash at the time would escape with their lives. Fact. Oid.

Fine and agree....but as i said if the club want us to do our bit, then they should have, and could do theirs as well.... a few decent speakers really wouldnt go amiss !
