I can see why MA has snapped up Tommy on a free, but I can't quite see what's in it for Tommy (apart from the fact that he was unemployed, of course). After playing for most of last season under MA, when neither the team or the manager seemed to know what they were doing, and then spending two months in a winning team that suddenly DID seem to know what it was doing under Russell Slade, you wouldn't have thought he'd have been that keen to hook up again with MA, having sampled something obviously a lot better.
