5th September 1987. Blackpool at home lost 3-1

Strange, Moggy got married that day as well. Only home match I missed all season and the only home league defeat of the season as I recall.

Live on Sky with an early kick-off. Home to Rushden in the Cup. Cullip with the winner (I think).
Watched the game in the pub with all my nearest and dearest before heading off en masse round the corner to the church.

Oct 15th 1983 - Can't remember who it was but i t was Melia's last game in charge. I remeber coming back from honeymoon a week later and there were pictures all over the papers of Melia in the North Stand demonstrating against his dismissal. That game was against Sheff Wed then managed by Howard Wilkinson!
