True there is that aspect.I would think an assassination of Obama would have the same reaction. history has a habit of being re written. JFK was not as universally loved as is widely believed now. He was in danger of losing the 64 election, in fact the only reason he was in Dallas was that Texas was such a crucial state.
But nevertheless Obama's legacy is getting murkier and murkier, at home and abroad, by the day.
Although history would be kinder to BO than it would have been to 'W', had something happened on his watch.
