Liverpool signed Michael Robinson on the strength of one game, us beating them up there in the FA cup. I think they saw his best ever game that day and I'm not sure they were that impressed with what they got when they saw his normal game which was definitely not up to the quality of the forwards who'd preceded him at Anfield.

If this guy is that good, and he certainly was on the day, he wouldn't have been at Port Vale. I'd suggest we saw his best game of the season, I'd prefer it if we gave him a trial before trying to sign him outright.

Have seen him a few times at Macclesfield Town when they were at the bottom of the league,he really looked woeful there,was often subbed and given the 'bird' seen him a couple of times at Vale and again not impressed. Be warned.
