They're punching well above their weight now. Barely anyone goes to their games and their ground is awful. They're only where they are now because of the money their owners have pumped into the club on players. It isn't sustainable.

Where have I heard this before ???

The obvious thing would be to change the name to Roedean Rovers - much posher!

No, Brighton Whitehawks, that way they can keep their white hawk carved into the downs above the ground and have a pretty damn trendy name that'll have the punters streaming thru the turnstile!

Oh get over yourselves the 'Don't go up there on a wintry Tuesday night!' brigade. What would you rather do, line the pockets of Rupert Murdoch through Sky to watch a namby pamby Prem player BITE someone? Get along to your local non-league club when BHA are away, and smell the linament and Bovril! More honesty from players in non-league than the 'higher' echelons

I'd rather get on train and support fan-owned Lewes than bankrolled Whitehawk, there is probably more 'honesty' associated with them and their players than Whitehawk. :hilton:

Whitehawk was always a good local football club, hospitable to away teams and supporters whilst playing in the County league, a few rascals for sure, but always a good place to play or watch a game.

It is an awful ground. If you want to go to a good non-league ground it has to be a trip to the Pan Siro.

Except we didnt have the money when the recovery started. Crawley are still managing to prove the naysayers wrong (for how long tho I dont know)

Good luck to them. FM14 team sorted and that squad! Probably more first teamers than us!

You know Im really tempted to reload the 7-level database and edit the squad to the players now in and follow them up to the premiership RIGHT NOW!

CHallenge you? ;)

So a bit like Palace then?
