Interesting discussion cropped up with a mate of mine recently....

He is an Arsenal fan and LOVES the premiership, and we ended up arguing over which of these we would prefer to see being successful...

The Premiership OR Our National Team?

It is clear the former is currently superior, what with all the GREAT soccerball from the best FOREIGNERS (and overhyped rediculously by SKY)... but at the expense of our national team?

The concept of a league being "successful" is ridiculous.

To my mind, the most successful league is probably one where all the teams are evenly matched, where any of them can win and any of them can end up bottom. Ideally, there would be no more than four points between the top club and the bottom club at the end of the season. Every match would be exciting and would be won by a margin of just a single goal.

But it would be slagged off by the marketing men because it failed to deliver two (or three, or four) "outstanding" teams.

I think the Premiership is important to those that have a chance of winning it and the national team is more important to the rest of us.

Neither. The Albion for me over both the national team and the Premiershite. Unless we're in it, of course

i would say premier as i hate watching england i would rather watch bolton or chelsea on tv! ALBION wherever is my choice if it was there.

I think most people would vote the national team as we aren't gonna win the premierleague.

If it was a choice between England win the world cup or Brighton winning the FA Cup you would have a better poll
