dont like the way he's about to land on the wicket though

P.S. for those that did'nt get the picture, Police are still sometimes called "Pigs", hence the Police Helicopter reference to "Flying Pigs"

P.P.S. For those that did get it and wondered why I explained above...well you just never know do you!

Prescott is a lazy bastard.

Thanks god he does not work in the service sector or he would be bankrupt in a week.

He is now just taking the piss out of the club and fans. He made his decision before 30/6/04 but can't be bothered to let anyone know.

It isn't HIS decision though is it?

The whole thing is being dealt with by an army of civil servants who have no sense or urgency whatsoever unless it's to hold a ballot for strike action if they don't get a 10% pay increase.

JP is merely the figurehead of the process so....if the decision isn't what we are all hoping for-punch the nearest civil servant in case they had a hand in the decision.

While it isnt Prescott doing the donkey work the way i see the process is this: The minister of a department at some point in the process indicates to his senior civil service staff which way he'd rather see the decision go. Obviously if thats completly out of the question then he gets told so. Other wise there go away and make sure every 'i' is dotted with the correctly sized dot to ensure the ministers decision meets both his preference and the evidence/details provided.

So from this i take the delay to mean either:
A) Prescott is pro-falmer but it doesnt have a chance and he's putting off what will be politically a bit of a nightmare for Labour locally, or
B) Prescott is pro-falmer and his mandarins are ensure that absolutly no detail has been left unchecked, so he can say yes with out fear of a troublesome appeal, or
C) Prescott is anti-falmer and we have such a strong case that his department is having trouble finding a problem with it.

Im assuming its option B)
