I've never experienced Withdean anywhere near the levels of last night! Electric!!! The WHOLE stand was singing TOGETHER!

I think it was probably last night - thanks in no small part to the Swindon fans, who made a tremendous noise. Also, for the first time ever, we all managed to stand throughout the WHOLE MATCH in D Block, and I've never heard (or taken part in) so much singing at Withdean. The whole South Stand was the singing section last night, it was just brilliant.

yeh the thing that pissed me off though was that until they scored, we were all singing together, it was great, then swindon scored and everyone stopped. it was left to the singing section to get it back, just like every game this season, if you're gonna sing, you might aswell do it all game

Last night was the best, everyone stood up the whole game and got behind the team almost all of the match and when Virgo scored and they missed the penalty it's the most mental withdean has ever gone

There was bloke in Block D who was so keyed up that he went arse-over-tit into the next row even when we won a corner :lolol: :lolol:

When we actually SCORED, he took two or three of us with him into the next row :jester:

IT WAS GREAT STUFF

When we leave withdean we must never forget these magic nights, that tin pot ground was nearly crumbling last night.

The stands where buckling, the hoardings knocked over and skewed, the dugouts wet and dirty, the glisten of the rain on the grass & the misty far side due to poor floodlights. It is a theatre of tin-pot.

:p

Amazing atmosphere, until Swindon scored their 2nd. THe Albion crowd was so deflated, facing the prospect of it all being over. Incredible once again, after Virgo got it back.

I think the fact the for the 1st time all of the south stand stood for the entire acted as the catalyst..

From H Block I have to say it was absolutely out of this world, especially compared to the morgue we've experienced for much of the season. When we scored it was just ridiculous, the Full Harris was to my left, then I turned away and when I looked again he was spreadeagled on the floor about 5 rows down! Marvellous scenes!

Last night without a doubt.
Chesterfield was brilliant - especially the brown envelopes - but I think I had a greater certainty that we'd do the business. Palace was downright depressing and, in recent years, I reckon the game that came nearest to last night's electric atmosphere was Hereford. But since that wasn't at Withdean it doesn't qualify as a comparison!!!

Have we all had memory loss ?, the atmosphere with the brown envelopes when we beat the cheats 1-0 to land the title was by far the best atmosphere ever seen at the Withdean.

King did a fine job in bringing out the best in every Albion fan who wanted to show him what a great club we are.

Perhaps other managers should wind us up ???

it was great to see other blocks copying what H & J block have been doing all season.
