None, we have some cracking players such "Lampard, Rooney, Sol Campbell, Ashley Cole, Rio, etc etc

BUT then you compare em to Terry Henry, Ronaldhino, Shevchenko etc and you see they have to prove em selves be it internationally or in champs league.

Ok, Beckham and Owen play in Spain but here is the list of British OR British based players.

David Beckham (England)
Didier Drogba (Ivory Coast)
Steven Gerrard (England)
Ryan Giggs (Wales)
Thierry Henry (France)
Frank Lampard (England)
Michael Owen (England)
Robert Pires (France)
Wayne Rooney (England)
Ruud van Nistelrooy (Holland)

As I said, has to be Henry but I think Nedved or Ronaldinho will win it.

The only British based player who deserves to win it is Henry. The only other player who you could possibly make a case for winning it is Ronaldinho.

Looking at that list there is only Henry who sticks out (British based!)

Henry is the best player in the premiership but that is as far as it goes, yet to do much at internation level...

Why is Giggs on the list?

Henry is the best player in the world.
