Generally have the steak n ale, which, when not (occassionally) overcooked and dry is damn good. Dabbled with the balti, never been at the front of the queue in time for the festive wierd one and yet to try the chicken & ham. But... took my carcass dodging other half to the s.hampton game and the veggie pie was spicy and outstanding :drool: Maybe I'll take a pocket full of dipping chipolatas on saturday? :wink: :albion2:

How times have changed!
I wonder what exciting varieties of pies will be around 5 months from now? :D

having finally exhausted stocks of hot cross bun pies we'll be enjoying the exciting new ploughman's lunch pie I guess :cheers::albion2:

Before my first pie, I assumed my answer would be steak and ale (used to have a lovely steak and ale pie at a pub up north). But the chicken is the surprise winner for me.
