Kev - what league we are in will have no influence on whether we get/don't get Falmer.

Some geezer on the phone in a couple of weeks ago droned on about the same thing, the "we don't need Falmer if we're in Division 1/2 blah blah fu**ing bollocks."

Utter and total crap.

Build it and they will come.

Reading had piss poor crowds before they moved - however we are potentially a much bigger club than they are - yet they now want to extend the Mad Stad by a minimum of 10,000, and good luck to them.

Of course it would be a slow process for Albion - after the initial excitment I would expect with decent marketing 10-12k average in League 1 - going to say 15k for Champioship

Get those sort of revenues in, get back the lost generation of Albion fans accross Sussex and we'll be pushing for the Prem within 4 years of moving into Falmer.

Oxford is a non starter as comparison. Non league club, no history of note, no decent fan base.

Whatever outsiders may think we could (though we're not at the moment) be a big club. People in Sussex on the whole have cash and want to spend it - they just don't want to come to Withdean to get soaked whilst spending it!

Brighton is a great City, and people coming to live here have money to spend - they must have to afford the house prices!

Build us a Stadium and we'll (nearly) fill it!

Don't want to sound pedantic, but Oxford are getting crowds not much different to ours, round about 6k per game, probably more than they were getting last year in division 2.

What I really wanted to say there was that it is more important that we get the stadium, no permanent ground, no future for the Albion, it will be a long and lingering death for the club.

I see six Albion-hating away fans have voted for League 1! Very funny guys, hope you never find yourselves in our position.
