Interesting debate, always liked Poyet as manager until the ending and likewise for De Zerbi who had us playing some of the best football we've seen.

Straight shoot out between three.

Option A)

Gus Poyet for claiming he was sacked live on air and also the Crystal Palace semi final debacle

Option B)

De Zerbi for in which the manner he left and then went on to become the Marseille manager

Option C)

Potter for which he sailed off to Chelsea with everyone but the tea lady and Barber

The one who openly criticised us even while he was here. Love that we've beaten him both times he's come back too.

I would always boo Potter when he turns up, but not the other two.

All were great and gave us sides that were a joy to watch at their peak here, all left badly

I wouldn’t have wanted any of them NOT to have managed us. I had respect for all them prior to their departures/meltdowns in 2 cases, Judas in the other.
I don't think RDZ left us badly. Yes we had a dreadful final 3 months or so, but he left on good terms and we made around £6m in compensation from his move to Marseille. He just fell out with our transfer policy - nothing wrong with that IMO.

I voted Poyet as he basically belittled the club with his ceiling comments, and always felt he was better. While Potter ran for the cash too quickly, it was also understandable. Poyet just acted like Billy Big B*llocks and got owned

Poyet, although Graham “Easy Life” Potter runs him a close second. Way to let your old bosses know that you were coasting in the role.

Potter just edges Poyet for me. I understand ambition and the money but cooking up the plan with their Yank owner to return to take key members of our staff. And the ' glow up ' so he could look smart enough for the Fulham Road. But for our brilliant succession management we could have gone into free fall.

Potter by a mile.

I think this should be opened to other clubs. Which would bring me to Roy Hodgson, the biggest fraud there’s ever been, literally a walking and talking example of the Peter Principal. Followed closely by ‘Arry’.
Hodgson you say?

Poyet.

If TB or PB were ever to write an autobio with no legal constraints, I strongly suspect they'd reveal Poyet to be a bullsh1tter. Plus he didn't like Muzza, caused his exit and later tried to blame TB with the two budgets fantasy.
You only have to look how the careers have panned out.
Early days yet for Potter (only been in charge of 3 EPL clubs, er, versus Poyet's one) and RDZ,
but Poyet's career has been like Hodgson's except in reverse.

Poyet by a country mile..... And basically made himself unemployable. What Chairman in his right mind, would touch him now. When he had the best Chairman in the game and behaved the way he did. Glass celling lol, look where we both are now Gus!!!!!!!!
